NEWS ( updated Feb 8th )
We would like to thank everyone who has been so kind to donate our new plastic outdoor kennels for the rescue Mrs Paolozzi and sammy who donated 2 kennels Emma our dog walker donated 1 kennel Mr and Mrs Fisk donated 2 kennels Mrs bateman who donated 10 kennels Mrs Ashley donated 4 kennels many thanks to you all as we have others who dropped them off and we haven't got there names but many thanks.
OUR NEXT MISSION WE ARE ON A MISSION TO FINALLY COMPLETE OUR NURSING ROOM, WITH SOME HELP WE HAVE MANAGED TO GET A SHOWER UNIT FOR THE DOGS TO BE BATHED AND GROOMED AND WE HAVE GOT THE TILES FOR A NEW FLOOR SO ALL WE NEED NOW IS FOR A SET OF HOLDING CAGES FOR NEW ARRIVALS AND ANY ANIMALS AWAITING OR RECEIVING VET TREATMENT/OPERATIONS. THESE ARE A VERY NECESSARY PIECE OF EQUIPMENT FOR US AS THEY ARE A COMPLETE ISOLATED UNIT SO FOR ANY ANIMAL HAVING TREATMENT IT WILL BE NOT ONLY SECURE BUT ABLE TO RECOVER PEACEFULLY WITHOUT FEELING WORRIED ABOUT THE DOG NEXT DOOR THE BAD NEWS IS THEY COST £1500 SO FOR US THIS IS A MASSIVE MISSION TO COMPLETE
IF WE CAN RAISE THE MONEY IT WILL MEAN BETTER RECOVERY FOR ANY ANIMALS HAVING OPERATIONS AS THEY ARE A STERILE UNIT AND VERY EASY TO CLEAN AND KEEP GERMS AWAY. please please if you know of any holding cages like these for sale please contact the rescue as we desperately need some to help some urgent dogs that have come into the rescue that need special attention.
( Added information below ) we are in need of blankets urgently, shredded paper and newspapers.
****************************************************************************** We have had several people ring to say they would like to help with donations so being as we are trying to pay off out vets bill which is currently at £4415.23 we have said if they want to make a donation then to send the cheque to us but payable to Jamiesons vet Group as this will help us in a great way to get this bill down as it is rising every week with the amount of animals coming into the rescue.
UPDATE: Many thanks to Dot who very kindly donated £1000 to our vets to help towards our bill many thanks to Mr and Mrs Jones who donated £50 towards our vet bill many thanks to Mr and Mrs Harrison who donated £68 towards our vet bill many thanks to Gordon and Joy from the xmas lights fund who we have paid £500 toward our vet bill Jane Cooper donated £60 towards our bill Miss Moon donated £50 towards our bill Mrs Bent donated £30 towards our bill
